On this picture you can see Mod3m/Darkage, he came with some dudes from Italy... Seems they were the only foreigners there except us... only french people there...
Yo! A cool group photo of the Abyss hardcore-party-posse. From left to right: Bartman/Abyss, Wintermute/Interactive, Poet/Abyss, Crow/Interactive. Pink took this picture, so he ain't on it...
We are this cool, we can't take enough photos of us. Again we are bringing you the stupidest poses of the whole scene! But to be serious, it's the only thing you can do at such a boring party. More of this later...
Now you are eye-witness of the hardcore-dancing experience of the centure: Bartman's and Poet's hardcore stage-dancing-performance! Yes! We bring hardcore-action into every boring party...
You think this is shit? Well, you're close... that's a snapshot from the graphics competition.... Well, on the other hand this is not surprising... Here's the explanation (I think so): The organizers expected some 600 people, but actually approx. 800 arrived, so to get more money, they were all granted admission, and as a consequence, the power broke down several times until it was down for about 10 hours. Then they had to get some professional electrician to fix it and because that was kinda expensive all price-money for the competitions was cancelled... They offered to pay back 100 of the 150 FF entrance fee if you would leave by Saturday, 14:00, so many french people were leaving... about 200-300.
But the most cool event on Saturne Party (as last year) hasn't been cancelled: the so-called "sexy dancing girls"... 4 girls from evening dancing classes moved their 80kilo-bodies to the musics of "Men in black" and some Jamiroquai stuff...
So if you ever thought, the dancing in the DJ Bobo-videos was bad, you haven't experienced this action right here 8-)) Well, I don't wanna insult anyone (I'm not sure whether any french dude will ever read this - most of them can't even understand english), but they simply weren't professional dancers...
For your orientation: The thing you can see in the upper right corner was the stage in front of the big screen; the bowl in front of the stage was the "voting bowl": after each competition, you should fill out the appropriate page in your voting book, tear it out and throw it into that bowl, but as all prices have been cancelled (although rumors said that there was pizza and t-shirts for the winners) it seemed that the organizers didn't even try to count the votes 8-)
Another very cool picture by Poet/Abyss taken from the upper balcony. You can already see the half-empty tables, as some people left because of the power-downs.
If you visit such a boring party, you need something that keeps you awake, you need some energy! Here's the ultimate energy-drink: Onkel Dittmeyer's Valensina (orange juice), that's really a drink for the hardcore-elite only! You are free to rip this picture and use it in your next production 8-))
